Exosome therapy with microneedling supports skin regeneration at a cellular level. Microneedling creates tiny micro-channels in the skin, allowing exosomes, natural messengers derived from stem cells, to penetrate deeper. These exosomes carry growth factors and proteins that may stimulate repair, hydration, and improved texture. Exosome therapy is designed to rejuvenate the skin by enhancing cell-to-cell communication, supporting collagen and elastin production, and promoting overall skin health. Concerns this treatment may address: Fine lines and wrinkles Uneven tone or texture Early signs of skin ageing Loss of firmness or elasticity Dull, tired-looking skin Improvements are progressive as the treatment works with your body’s natural repair mechanisms. Many clients notice brighter, more hydrated skin within weeks, with further improvements in firmness and texture developing over 3–6 months. A course of 3–4 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, is usually recommended for best results. Treatment typically takes 45–60 minutes. After cleansing and numbing the skin, microneedling is performed to create controlled micro-injuries. Exosomes are then applied, allowing them to penetrate deeply and stimulate repair. Discomfort is minimal, often described as light scratching or prickling. Most clients resume normal activity within 24–48 hours. Exosome therapy is considered safe. Common effects include temporary redness, swelling, or sensitivity, usually resolving within 1–2 days. Rare risks include bruising, infection, or skin irritation. Your practitioner will discuss these during consultation. Pre-treatment advice Avoid active skincare (retinoids, acids, exfoliants) for 3–5 days. Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning for 1 week prior. Do not attend if you have active infection, cold sores, or skin irritation. Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup and lotions. Post-treatment advice Mild redness, swelling, or sensitivity is normal for 24–48 hours. Avoid makeup, strenuous exercise, swimming, and heat exposure (saunas, steam rooms) for 24 hours. Use only gentle, hydrating skincare while healing. Apply SPF daily and avoid direct sun exposure. Do not pick, rub, or scratch the skin during recovery.
