About the Treatment
A prescription-only medical procedure using hyaluronidase to break down misplaced, migrated, or overfilled hyaluronic acid filler. A mandatory patch test is required before treatment. Our Packages: Dissolving Only: Safe removal of unwanted filler to restore baseline anatomy. Dissolving & Lip Booster: Removal of migrated lip filler, followed later by our signature Lip Booster conditioning protocol for intense hydration. Lip Booster treatment is 2-8 weeks following Dissolving treatment. Dissolving & Re-Fill (Up to 1ml / 2ml): Full clearance of old product, followed by fresh filler placement 4-8 weeks after dissolve. Note: The enzyme temporarily breaks down native hyaluronic acid, so the area may temporarily lose natural volume before stabilising. What to Expect Timeline: Enzyme acts immediately; swelling takes 24–48 hours to settle. Denser deposits may require multiple sessions. Pre-Treatment Advice 3 Days Before: Avoid alcohol, fish oils, Vitamin E, and non-prescribed anti-inflammatories (aspirin, ibuprofen) to minimise bruising. Health: Reschedule if unwell or experiencing active infections (e.g., cold sores). Post-Treatment Care First 12 Hours: Do not touch, press, or massage the area. Do not apply makeup. Cleanse gently. First 48 Hours: Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas, steam rooms, and temperature extremes. Next 2 Weeks: Delay facials, chemical peels, and laser treatments. Safety & Urgent Complications Normal: Localised redness, swelling, tenderness, and bruising are normal and resolve within days. Urgent: Severe swelling away from the site, a widespread rash, itching, or breathing difficulties indicate an allergic reaction. Seek immediate emergency medical care and contact the clinic. All corrective packages require an assessment and prescription by Dr. Mäla.
Booking Policy
To ensure a smooth and fair experience for all patients, the following policies apply to every booking: 1. Consultations A consultation is required before all treatments. Fees vary by consultation type and may be partially redeemable. Medical history must be updated every 12 months via our Intake Form. Personalised treatment plans and quotes are valid for 30 days following consultation, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Quotes are subject to clinical reassessment if medical history or treatment suitability changes during the period of validity. 2. Deposits A deposit is required to secure all appointments. Deposits are deducted from your treatment cost. 3. Cancellations & Rescheduling 48+ hours’ notice: deposit fully refundable. Less than 48 hours’ notice: deposit is non-refundable but may be transferred once at MPower Clinic’s discretion, with a £50 rescheduling fee (maximum twice per treatment, after that deposit if forfeited) No-show: deposit forfeited. 4. Late Arrivals Late arrivals (15+ minutes): we may be unable to proceed, and the deposit may be forfeited. Please arrive 10 minutes early for paperwork. 5. Treatment Suitability All treatments require a clinical assessment. If the treatment is unsuitable, your deposit may be refunded or transferred to another service. 6. Children & Under-18s Due to medical equipment, no children or under-18s are permitted in treatment rooms. We do not treat anyone under 18. 7. Packages & Courses Packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Finance options may be available. 8. Payment Plans & Finance Klarna via Stripe is available for eligible treatments (£250+). In-house monthly payment plans are available for select packages. Treatments can only be carried out in line with the instalment progress. 9. eGift Cards Valid for 12 months. Include 10% added value. Non-refundable and cannot be used toward deposits or finance plans. 10. Clinic Rights MPower Clinic may refuse treatment or amend policies, prices, or services at any time.
