About the Treatment

This treatment is to create a tailored plan for Dermal Filler placement up to 8ml across a range of areas including: Temporal Cheeks Tear Trough Nasolabial Folds Chin Jawline Dermal fillers are injectable treatments containing hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance that hydrates, repairs, and restores skin volume. They are delivered using a fine needle or cannula and often include lidocaine for comfort. By replenishing volume and softening lines, fillers can refresh and rejuvenate the face with instant results. As we age, skin loses fat, collagen, and elasticity, leading to sagging and wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is highly water-attracting, so when injected, it plumps, lifts, and smooths the skin. Results vary but typically last 6–18 months. 
 Fillers are generally very safe when performed by trained medical professionals using licensed products. Temporary effects include redness, swelling, or bruising. Rare but serious risks include infection, lumps, vascular occlusion, or, in very rare cases, blindness or stroke. Contact your practitioner immediately if you experience severe pain, skin colour changes, or visual disturbance. Pre-treatment advice * Avoid anti-inflammatories (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen) for 3 days unless prescribed. * Do not consume alcohol, fish oils, Vitamin E, Gingko Biloba, or St John’s Wort for 3 days before treatment. * If prone to bruising, arnica may help. * Reschedule if unwell, including coughs, colds, or active infections. * Avoid sunbeds and tanning for 1 week before treatment. * Do not schedule within 2 weeks of major social events or holidays. * Update your practitioner about any changes in medical history or medications. Post-treatment advice * Expect some redness, swelling, or bruising; this usually settles in a few days. * Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for 12 hours. * Do not wear makeup for 12 hours. * Avoid vigorous exercise, alcohol, heat exposure, or saunas for 48 hours. * Delay facials, peels, or laser treatments for 2 weeks. * Avoid swimming pools and sunbeds until initial swelling and redness resolve. * If swelling persists, apply a cool pack. * Contact your practitioner urgently if you experience severe pain, blanching, spreading discolouration, eye pain, or visual disturbance.
