About the Treatment

Microneedling is a doctor-led treatment that stimulates the skin's natural repair response to improve skin quality, texture and overall appearance. Ultra-fine needles create micro-channels within the skin, encouraging new collagen and elastin production whilst allowing active ingredients to penetrate more effectively. Unlike standardised treatments, every microneedling session at MPower Clinic is fully tailored to you. Your skin is not one-size-fits-all, so neither should your treatment plan be. Treatment can be performed on the face, neck, décolletage, hands, body and scars, with needle depths, needle counts and skincare cocktails individually selected according to your concerns, skin type and treatment goals. Most clients describe the sensation as mild scratching, with minimal discomfort. All treatments include a bespoke skincare and peptide cocktail, with the option to upgrade to: PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Exosomes + Polynucleotides + Peptides Superficial chemical skin peels Microneedling may help improve: Fine lines and wrinkles Dull, tired or uneven skin Enlarged pores Loss of firmness and elasticity Acne scarring and deeper scars Stretch marks Skin texture and overall skin quality Shallower treatments focus on collagen stimulation, skin rejuvenation and overall skin health, typically requiring 12–24 hours of downtime. Deeper treatments used for acne scarring, deeper wrinkles and certain scars require greater needle depths and may involve up to 72 hours of downtime. Many clients notice an initial glow within 1–2 weeks, with ongoing improvements in texture, tone and firmness developing over 4–6 weeks. For optimal results, a course of 3–6 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, is usually recommended. Pre-treatment advice Avoid retinoids, acids and vitamin C for 3–5 days Avoid tanning, waxing or laser treatments for 1 week Stay hydrated and avoid alcohol for 24 hours Inform us if you have cold sores or an active skin infection Aftercare Mild redness and sensitivity are normal Avoid makeup for 24 hours Use gentle skincare only Apply SPF daily and avoid direct sun exposure Avoid strenuous exercise, swimming and saunas for 48 hours Avoid retinoids, acids and exfoliants for 5 days Please note: Temporary redness, swelling, sensitivity and mild peeling are common. Rare risks, including bruising, infection and pigmentation changes, will be discussed before treatment.
