About the Treatment
Botulinum Toxin (BOTOX®) temporarily relaxes targeted muscles to smooth lines, wrinkles, and manage muscle hypertrophy. Every plan is bespoke to your anatomy. Treatment Areas for up to 4 areas: Upper Face: Forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, brow lift. Mid/Lower Face & Profile: Bunny lines, under-eye jelly roll, nasal tip lift, nasal slimming, lip flip, gummy smile, downturned mouth, chin dimpling, jawline tightening. Other areas: Advanced Body/Contour: Masseter slimming and Trapezius toxin (shoulder contouring/tension relief). What to Expect Procedure: Use of a fine needle with minimal discomfort. Normal activities can be resumed immediately. Timeline: Visible in 4–7 days; full effect at 2 weeks. May lasts 3–4 months. Review: Offered at 2–4 weeks for safe adjustments. Exceptionally strong muscles requiring higher doses may incur a top-up fee, agreed at consultation. Pre-Treatment Advice 3 Days Before: Avoid alcohol, fish oils, Vitamin E, garlic, and non-prescribed anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen, aspirin) to reduce bruising. Arnica can be used proactively. Health: Do not attend if unwell or experiencing active skin infections (e.g., cold sores). Timing: Do not schedule within 2 weeks of a major event. Post-Treatment Care First 4 Hours: Remain upright. Do not rub or massage the treated areas for 24 hours. First 12 Hours: No makeup. Cleanse very gently that evening. Day 1: Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and extremes of temperature. Next 2 Weeks: Avoid other facial treatments (fillers, peels, microneedling). Safety & Side Effects Normal: Mild redness, swelling, bruising, or transient headache typically resolve within days. Rare: Asymmetry or temporary drooping will be discussed during consultation. Urgent: Contact the clinic immediately if you experience visual disturbances, severe/increasing pain, or spreading redness. All medical treatments require a thorough clinical history check and in-person assessment by Dr. Mäla.
Booking Policy
To ensure a smooth and fair experience for all patients, the following policies apply to every booking: 1. Consultations A consultation is required before all treatments. Fees vary by consultation type and may be partially redeemable. Medical history must be updated every 12 months via our Intake Form. Personalised treatment plans and quotes are valid for 30 days following consultation, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Quotes are subject to clinical reassessment if medical history or treatment suitability changes during the period of validity. 2. Deposits A deposit is required to secure all appointments. Deposits are deducted from your treatment cost. 3. Cancellations & Rescheduling 48+ hours’ notice: deposit fully refundable. Less than 48 hours’ notice: deposit is non-refundable but may be transferred once at MPower Clinic’s discretion, with a £50 rescheduling fee (maximum twice per treatment, after that deposit if forfeited) No-show: deposit forfeited. 4. Late Arrivals Late arrivals (15+ minutes): we may be unable to proceed, and the deposit may be forfeited. Please arrive 10 minutes early for paperwork. 5. Treatment Suitability All treatments require a clinical assessment. If the treatment is unsuitable, your deposit may be refunded or transferred to another service. 6. Children & Under-18s Due to medical equipment, no children or under-18s are permitted in treatment rooms. We do not treat anyone under 18. 7. Packages & Courses Packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Finance options may be available. 8. Payment Plans & Finance Klarna via Stripe is available for eligible treatments (£250+). In-house monthly payment plans are available for select packages. Treatments can only be carried out in line with the instalment progress. 9. eGift Cards Valid for 12 months. Include 10% added value. Non-refundable and cannot be used toward deposits or finance plans. 10. Clinic Rights MPower Clinic may refuse treatment or amend policies, prices, or services at any time.
