What are Skin Boosters?
Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to deeply hydrate, improve elasticity, and enhance overall skin quality from within. Unlike dermal fillers, which add structure or volume, skin boosters work by delivering lightweight hyaluronic acid directly into the skin to restore moisture and radiance.
These treatments are ideal for patients who want to target dryness, dullness, or fine lines without changing their facial shape, giving skin a fresher, smoother, and more luminous appearance.

Minimal, there may be some redness or swelling present after treatment.
RECOMMENDED SESSIONS
2–3 initial treatments, then maintenance every 4–6 months

Pre-Treatment Care

Avoid alcohol, anti-inflammatories (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen), fish oils, Vitamin E, and herbal supplements such as Ginkgo Biloba or St John’s Wort for 3 days before treatment (unless prescribed).

Avoid sunbeds, steam rooms, and saunas for 48 hours prior.

If prone to bruising, arnica tablets or cream may help.

Do not attend your appointment if you are unwell or have an active skin infection (including cold sores).

Inform your practitioner of any medical or medication changes.
Post-Treatment Care

Redness, mild swelling, or bruising may occur and usually resolves within a few days.

Avoid touching or applying makeup to the treated area for 12 hours.

Avoid vigorous exercise, alcohol, and extremes of heat or cold for 24–48 hours.

Do not schedule facials, microneedling, or peels for 2 weeks post-treatment.

Keep the area clean and avoid direct sun exposure until any initial redness has settled.
