Why Should I Book a Consultation?
Every treatment journey at MPower Clinic begins with understanding you. A consultation provides the opportunity to discuss your concerns, review your medical history and assess whether treatment is appropriate before any recommendations are made.
During your appointment, we'll talk through your goals, explain the available treatment options, discuss realistic outcomes and answer any questions you may have. Where appropriate, alternative treatment options may also be recommended if they are likely to provide a safer or more effective result.
Whether you're considering aesthetic treatments, seeking help for a medical condition or simply looking for honest professional advice, our consultations are designed to give you clarity, confidence and a personalised treatment plan—with no obligation to proceed.
If you're uncertain which appointment is most appropriate, don't worry! We're here to help.
Simply contact the clinic and we'll be happy to advise you on the most suitable consultation based on your concerns and goals.
If you're unsure what treatment you need, we generally recommend booking our "I Don't Know What I Need" consultation. This allows plenty of time for a comprehensive assessment, discussion of all suitable treatment options and the opportunity to ask as many questions as you need before making a decision.
If we don't feel a treatment is appropriate, or believe another option would better meet your goals, we'll explain why and discuss suitable alternatives. Our priority is always achieving safe, natural-looking results tailored to you.
Which Consultation Is Right For Me?
We offer several consultation options depending on what you're looking to achieve.
"I Know What I Want" (30 minutes)
Ideal if you've already decided on a particular injectable treatment. We'll confirm that it's appropriate for you, review your medical history, answer any questions and discuss alternative recommendations if another treatment would be safer or better suited to your goals.
"I Don't Know What I Need" (60 minutes)
Perfect if you're unsure which treatment is right for you. We'll carry out a comprehensive assessment, discuss your concerns in detail, explain how different treatment options work and create a personalised treatment plan based on your anatomy, skin, goals and budget. This consultation also includes a complimentary guide to supporting skin revitalisation at home, and bespoke treatment plan quotes for multi-treatment savings.
Skin Consultation (30 minutes)
A detailed assessment for concerns such as ageing, pigmentation, acne, dehydration, scarring and overall skin health. Ideal if you have a general idea of your concerns but would like to compare the different skin treatments available to determine which option is best suited to your skin and desired outcomes.
Hair Consultation (45–60 minutes)
Designed for patients considering in-clinic hair restoration treatments or prescription hair loss medication. We'll carry out a comprehensive assessment, including an in-depth history and macroscopic examination of your scalp and hair follicles, to identify the most likely cause of your hair loss and determine the most appropriate treatment approach. This consultation also includes a complimentary guide to supporting hair restoration at home. Please note that prescription appointments are available at our CQC-registered locations only.
Medical Assessment Consultation (60 minutes)
Designed for a range of medical concerns, including private prescriptions, migraines, excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), hay fever, acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, and mole or skin cancer assessments. We'll review your symptoms and medical history, discuss the available treatment pathways and advise on the safest and most appropriate management for your individual needs. Please note that these appointments are available at our CQC-registered locations only.
Treatment Review (Complimentary)
Included following eligible treatments at MPower Clinic. These follow-up appointments allow us to assess your results, ensure your treatment has settled as expected and make any refinements where clinically appropriate, helping you achieve the safest and most natural-looking outcome.
Why Is There a Consultation Fee?
Unlike many complimentary consultations, our appointments are comprehensive, doctor-led assessments lasting 30 to 60 minutes. Rather than providing a brief overview, we take the time to understand your concerns, review your medical history, explain the underlying factors contributing to your concern(s), assess your suitability for treatment, and discuss the benefits, risks, and realistic expectations of treatment in detail.
Our priority is to ensure you have all the information needed to make a safe and informed decision, without ever feeling rushed or under pressure to proceed with treatment.
Your consultation fee is partially redeemable against treatment when booked within the specified timeframe and, where appropriate, includes a personalised treatment plan and quotation, with additional savings available where multiple treatments are recommended. It is an investment in expert medical assessment, personalised advice, and the time needed to ensure you receive safe, evidence-based recommendations tailored to your individual needs.
To help us provide the safest possible care, you'll be asked to complete a confidential medical questionnaire before your appointment. Please ensure this is completed fully and honestly, as your answers allow us to assess your suitability for treatment, identify any factors that may influence your care, and recognise any contraindications or safety concerns before your consultation.
If, following your assessment, we don't feel a treatment is appropriate—or believe another option would better meet your goals—we'll explain why and discuss the alternatives. Our recommendations are always based on what we genuinely believe is in your best interests, not simply on what has been requested.

What Happens Next?
Following your consultation, you'll receive clear, personalised recommendations based on your concerns, examination and treatment goals. Where appropriate, this may include a bespoke treatment plan, pricing, expected results and the recommended treatment schedule.
There is never any obligation to proceed. We encourage you to take time to consider your options, ask questions and only move forward when you feel fully informed and confident in your decision. If a treatment isn't right for you, we'll explain why and discuss suitable alternatives where appropriate.
Pre-Consult Advice
• Complete your medical history form in advance and ensure it is up to date.
• If your consultation is for skin or facial concerns, attending with minimal or no make-up allows for a more accurate assessment where possible.
• For hair consultations, please arrive with clean, dry hair and avoid excessive styling products if possible.
• Spend a little time thinking about your concerns, goals, previous treatments, and any questions you would like to discuss.
• If you have relevant photographs (for example, showing progression of hair loss or previous treatment results), feel free to bring these along.
Comprehensive information about any recommended treatments, including suitability, preparation and aftercare, will be provided following your consultation.
Post-Consult Advice
• There is no obligation to proceed with treatment following your consultation. We encourage you to take time to consider your options and choose the treatment that feels right for you.
• If you have any questions after your appointment, simply make a note of them and get in touch—we're always happy to help.
• If a personalised treatment plan or quotation has been provided, it will remain valid for the period discussed during your consultation or as outlined in our booking policy.
• If you decide to proceed, we'll provide comprehensive pre-treatment information before your appointment, along with detailed aftercare guidance following your treatment.
