What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable gels made from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found within the body. Hyaluronic acid is highly water-attracting, helping to plump, lift, restore volume, and smooth the skin.
Results vary between individuals but typically last between 6–18 months, depending on the treatment area, product used, and your own metabolism.
Dermal fillers are generally safe when performed by appropriately trained medical professionals using licensed products. However, as with all medical procedures, risks and complications can occur and these will be discussed during your consultation.

Lips: Enhances volume, shape, definition, and symmetry while restoring deep hydration and smoothing fine perioral ("lipstick") lines.
Cheeks: Restores lost mid-face volume, creates structural lift, and helps soften nasolabial folds by re-supporting the cheek matrix.
Chin & Jawline: Defines and contours the lower face, strengthens a weak profile, and sharpens the jawline to reduce the appearance of jowls.

Possible Side Effects
Normal: Mild redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising are common and usually settle within a few days. Some areas, particularly the lips, may experience more noticeable swelling during the first 24–72 hours.
Rare: Small lumps, prolonged swelling, infection, delayed inflammatory reactions or filler migration can occur. These risks will be discussed during your consultation.
Urgent: Contact the clinic immediately if you experience severe or worsening pain, skin blanching or mottling, increasing redness, visual disturbances, or any signs of infection.
Pre-Treatment Advice
• Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning supplements where appropriate for 2–3 days before treatment.
• Avoid scheduling treatment immediately before important events due to the possibility of swelling or bruising.
• Inform us of any illness, cold sores, dental treatment, or changes to your medical history.
Comprehensive pre-treatment instructions and suitability information will be provided after booking.
Post-Treatment Advice
• Swelling, tenderness and bruising are common and usually settle over several days.
• Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat, alcohol, and pressure on the treated area for 24–48 hours.
• Contact us immediately if you experience severe pain, skin colour changes, or visual disturbance.
